MTCS with Stephanie Crockett

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again…Seeing or hearing what someone does or the position they hold never does the same thing for me as having the opportunity to hear the story of how they arrived wherever they are in life.

In November of 2020 Mike Durkin and I had the honor of occupying front row seats to hear the story of a (business) “Rock Star” right here in CNY who is leading a company and community with the value of “giving back” first.

Stephanie Crockett was raised in Camillus, NY by parents who told their 3 girls they could be whatever they wanted as long as they were happy and fulfilled. From our time hearing Stephanie’s story, it seems they did their job very well as the “perfect parents” of kids like Stephanie and her two sisters.

From a P&C cashier in high school, donating a few dollars per check to the United Way each week to a successful woman in business serving and chairing on multiple non-profit boards around CNY it’s clear that Stephanie Crockett’s up bringing and exposure to her parents passion for volunteering played a huge part in providing our community the type of leader that we can be proud of and feel confident in her efforts to make life better right here in the city she calls home.

So grateful to have had the opportunity to hear how Stephanie’s efforts are contributing to Making The City Smaller every day and super proud to call her a peer in our community but more importantly a FRIEND.
