Born and raised in Spencerport, NY, on the outskirts of Rochester, parallel to the Historic Erie Canal, Glenn Runyan’s journey has been one of resilience and transformation.
After beginning a four-year career in the United States Army in 2007 as a Combat Infantryman, with two deployments to the Middle East, Glenn faced the challenges of reintegrating into civilian life upon his return.
Introduced to sensory deprivation tanks and float therapy in Rochester in 2013, Glenn discovered a version of peace that helped him navigate the transition from the battlefield to everyday life.
Today, Glenn is a proud husband, father, and the new owner of Bodymind Float Center in Syracuse, NY. Through his own experiences, he has become an advocate for the benefits of float therapy, aiming to share his story and spread awareness about the positive impact it can have on individuals and organizations alike.
